Antivision isn’t a brand, a trend, or a passing scene. It’s a collective reality born out of Northampton’s corners — skaters, rappers, producers, visual artists, and the ones who don’t ask for permission to exist loudly. The movement has been growing quietly for a while, but this past year the energy shifted. People are paying attention now.
On August 15th at Roadmender, Antivision showed exactly why.

No corporate sponsor.
No artificial hype.
Just raw performance, loud presence, and a room full of people who came because they felt something was happening.
This is where the announcement comes in:
Antivision Vol. 2 is done.

The drop of Antivision Vol. 2 only reinforced that. Featuring Joutema, XWLK, Savemesah, Rainn, NIR7, Kiros, and Kirk, the project wasn’t designed to fit a trend — it was built from raw urgency and the need for expression without filter.
Now, the movement is shifting location — and raising the stakes

THE BRAINS BEHIND THE MOVEMENT

Midvision and Antii don’t parade themselves as leaders — but let’s keep it real — the movement wouldn’t exist without them. They’ve done the groundwork: the studios, the late-night conversations, the failed ideas that had to fall apart before the right ones formed.
We sat down at Rekordshop to talk about how this came to be:

-
The frustration of being overlooked in a city that pretends nothing is happening.
-
Turning isolation into community.
-
Using music not as an escape, but as documentation.
-
The mental health cost of ambition when you feel like you’re building in the dark.
-
The decision to create culture, not chase industry approval.
Rekordshop exists to connect young creatives with real industry support — no gatekeeping. No fake mentorship. Just actual pathways, advice, and accountability. The Antivision team fits that perfectly: self-built, self-funded, and self-directed.
This isn’t a scene that needs validation.
It’s a scene that already exists — and is now claiming visibility.
WHY THIS MATTERS

Most “underground movements” die because they want fame more than community.
Antivision flipped that.
The foundation is:
-
Art first
-
Real collaboration
-
No ego
-
No pretending
If you see yourself in this, then you’re already part of it.
If you don’t, it’s not for you.
Simple.
